WHEREAS SK Parks is proposing to conduct a prescribed burn on 320 acres of native grassland on the Matador Prairie Protected Area prior to a chemical application; and
WHEREAS SSGA has offered to provide funding and expertise to finding a solution that works for local producers, SK Parks, native grasslands and species at risk.
BE IT RESOLVED that SSGA lobby the Government of Saskatchewan in opposition to the proposed prescribed burn management plan.

WHEREAS Bovine Tuberculosis has been identified; and
WHEREAS the impact costs of the quarantine are huge for producers.
BE IT RESOLVED that SSGA lobby SK Environment to cooperate with random testing of elk and deer for TB.
