Moose Jaw, SK―Saskatchewan Stock Growers Association (SSGA) is proud to announce its112th Annual General Meeting and Convention, taking place June 8–10, 2025 at the Moose Jaw Exhibition Convention Centre. This year’s theme,“Focusing on the Future,”celebrates the resilience, innovation, and leadership of Saskatchewan’s livestock producers while tackling key industry challenges and opportunities.

The 2025 SSGA Convention promises a dynamic and forward-thinking program, highlighted by an impactful keynote from Devry Boughner Vorwerk, Founder and CEO of DevryBV Sustainable Strategies. A globally recognized leader in agri-business and international trade, Devry will deliver “Trade-o-War: Implications for the Global Beef Industry,” a timely and thought-provoking session drawing from her extensive background in corporate affairs, diplomacy, and sustainable strategy.
The convention kicks off Sunday evening with a guided tour of Top Gun Feeders, offering attendees a chance to connect informally before gathering at the President’s Reception for a warm welcome and networking.
Over the following two days, guests can expect a robust lineup of speakers and sessions, including an industry update from Canadian Cattle Association President Tyler Fulton, a market outlook by Brian Perrilat of Bullseye Feeds, and a forward-looking discussion on innovation and regulation with Penny McCall, Assistant Deputy Minister with Saskatchewan Agriculture. Additional sessions will feature insights from MNP, the Canadian Cattle Identification Agency, and other key industry partners.
Monday evening will bring everyone together for the annual banquet and entertainment, where the community celebrates excellence through awards presentations, live and silent auctions, and the kind of camaraderie that defines the ranching spirit.
Throughout the event, attendees are encouraged to take part in Saskatchewan Stock Growers Foundation updates, member resolutions, and board elections―key opportunities to shape the future of the association and Saskatchewan’s livestock industry as a whole.
